Koh Larn Ferry Schedule
The ferry to Koh Larn leaves from the Bali Hai pier at the Southern end of Walking Street Pattaya. Several ferries bound for the island leave the Bali Hai pier everyday. The second destination is a popular tourist beach called Ta Waen Beach. There is a long pier at the beach and quite a bit of boating traffic. Ta Waen Beach becomes very crowded in the peak tourist season and remains just crowded in the low season. If you plan only to visit Ta Waen Beach then this is the ferry for you to take.
If you would like to be a bit more adventurous then take the ferry to Na Baan where you will see many of the locals and the Na Baan village. At this village you can rent a motor bike for 200 baht for the day. At the other beaches on Koh Larn a motorbike will cost you much more. At Samae Beach the motorbike rental is 400 baht for the day.
The Koh Larn ferry is quite large and able to transport around 100 passengers. The fare to the island is 30 baht each way. The trip across the bay from Pattaya to Koh Larn takes around 35 to 40 minutes.
